Mike Genders

MIKE 'Mr G' GENDERS is our very own music co-ordinator at Pitcheroak School. Mike has many years experience as a teacher and has a special talent in working with children with severe learning difficulties. He is also a proficient guitarist and singer, skills which he has willingly brought into the school environment.

With responsibility for pulling together the 'Everybody Let's Sing' programme, Mike dedicates much personal time and energy to ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Lillian Boutte

LILLIAN BOUTTÉ our driving force and energy! Known as The Musical Ambassador of New Orleans, Lillian has for the past 25 years been capturing the hearts and ears of listeners from the Mississippi Delta to Bondi Beach performing her special brand of R&B, Jazz and Gospel. More recently she has been hosting singing workshops for children of all ages. Her main focus at the moment is to bring those workshops to children with special needs. She started that work right here with us! YOU can help her move it on.

Denny Ilett

DENNY ILETT was born in Reading, UK. He has worked with Lillian Boutté for several years and is a first class musician in his own right. He has recently released a new album "Callin' the Children Home". Well worth a listen!

Allyson

ALLYSON CRAIGAN works for Worcester Youth Music as an advanced skills teacher. She plays a variety of folk instruments - the violin being her first love. Along with her husband, Ian, she plays in a lively céilidh band known as "The Compost Band".

Daisy Palmer

DAISY PALMER, originally from London suburbia, graduated with a music Degree from Bristol University and is currently based in Bristol. She plays regularly with Bizali, The Rogue Dolls, Babel and The Groove Fandango. She has also played with a host of other fine musicians and is our most recent acquisition to the 'band'.

Andy Crowdy

ANDY CROWDY has also worked with Lillian Boutté for a number of years. He studied for his music Master's Degree at the University of Wales in Bangor, graduating in 1984 and is a seriously talented bass player.

Barnaby

BARNABY HILES spent many years working in community theatre groups before joining the staff at Pitcheroak School. Alongside his other responsibilities he is a talented percussionist, singer and all round enthusiast for all things musical. Not only that...  he was in need of a venue for his new Congas!
